Chris and I passed our parenting class with flying colors -- You can say we are officially ready for her arrival and have a certificate to show! We have 5 more weeks left until we will FINALLY get to meet our new addition. Together we have done a lot of preparing and I think we are ready for her to arrive.
We had our baby shower on the 29th of August, had a great time, and got a lot of great stuff. We are so thankful for our family and friends. Other than that we have been enjoying the rest of our days as just Chris and Jen. We went to a Dallas Cowboys Game, made the rounds at the state fair, have been visiting friends and family in Sioux Falls, been car shopping for a bigger vehicle, finishing the basement bedroom and putting the finishing touches on Ella's room.
Next doctor appointment is scheduled for Monday -- at the last appointment Dr. Loewen thought she would be about a 6.5-7lb baby. He thought she was about 3.5lbs right now and gaining a 1/2 lb a week. We shall see...
