Hello everyone. Sorry it has been a while since we have posted. We are finally starting to get our lives back to normal after the busy holiday season! Here is a little re-cap!
CHRISTMAS
This year we spent Christmas in Huron. Grandma Mary Kay and Grandpa Dick were able to come up from Missouri to spend the holiday with us. We got over 17 inches of snow over Christmas and because of that Chris's Brother Brian and his family were not able to make it to Huron. We went to a candlelit service on Christmas Eve and then opened up presnets Christmas morning. Ella got a lot of fun toys, some books and clothes! We had a few Christmas photo sessions as well and she did great. She loved her Christmas dress and was smiling like crazy!
BAPTISM
Ella was baptised on Dec. 27th (her 2 month birthday and Grandma Shelly and Grandpa Bruce's anniversary) at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls. Her Godparents are Megan Drake (my sister) and Dan Finch (One of Chris's Best Friends) It was a very special day for Ella and we were happy so many family members were able to dig out of the blizzard and make it to her celebration.
NEW YEARS
We spent the week of New Years down at Grandma Shelly and Grandpa Bruce's house in Omaha. We also had our Christmas with that side of the family then. Ella got a bunch more toys, outfits and books as well as a toy box for all of her toys! She also got a sled and a horse we named Keni. We think her horse was the favorite.
Other than that things have been going well. Ella has slept 8+ hours for the past 2 nights. I am not going to jinx myself but we are so hoping this is going to continue on for good! She goes to bed about 1030PM and wakes up about 630AM or so. IT is WONDERFUL!
Ella has also been battling a cold and an eye infection but we are happy to say that both of those have also about cleared up completely!
We hope you are enjoying the start of 2010! We sure are and this year will probably take a break from any significant events and just watch our baby girl grow up!

It sure is wonderful when they sleep through the night! I hope it lasts for you - we got to experience it for about 2-3 weeks - now we haven't been so lucky!
Our precious Ella. We can't even believe how blessed we are. Grandma Shelly and Grandpa Bruce!!
