Ella Michelle Johnston

Ella Michelle Johnston arrived yesterday October 27th, 2009 at 8:31AM. She weighed 7lb. 9oz. and was 19 1/2 Inches Long.

Monday October 26th, 2009

We went in for our regular doctor appointment at 2:30PM that afternoon. My blood pressure was pretty high and was the first time this has ever happened throughout my pregnancy so Dr. Loewen decided to induce labor. All other vitals looked great and so did Ella, so we decided to get the ball rolling!

After a very overwhelming ride home to finish packing our bags, we checked into HRMC at about 4PM and had the first pill to induce my labor about 5PM. Approximently 10 hours later I was given an epidural which was the absolute best part of the labor itself... a lifesaver. After only 3 pills I was at 9cm and at 630AM Tuesday morning I began pushing. Two long hours later we had our baby girl!

Tuesday October 27th, 2009 (Happy Birthday Dan and Ella!)

Grandma Shelly, Grandpa Bruce and Aunt Moogs were already at the hospital waiting to meet her! After Daddy and the nurse had her cleaned up and given a bath she was ready to meet them too! Nanny and Papa also drove up later that morning to meet the 4th generation to our family!

It has been so much fun getting to know the addition to our little family and we hope to introduce her to her big sister and brother, Phoenix and Chance, this afternoon. As long as her afternoon tests come back Ok, we are headed home!
