It has been a few days since we have posted! We have had a busy week, but wanted to catch up. Grandma Mary Kay came for a visit last week and we enjoyed our time with her. Last weekend we made our 1st trip to Sioux Falls with baby Ella and it was a success! She slept in the car going there and coming home without any fussing.
Friday night, Chris and I had our first outing. We went to the Harriet Tweed show (Dan's band) and left Ella home with Aunt Moogs. Saturday we did a little shopping and took our first trip to the mall... Ella loves to shop! :) Then on Sunday we had her 1st play date with Austin and Leah!
Yesterday (monday) we had another doctors appointment and Ella now weighs 8lb. 4oz. she is growing each and everyday! Doc was very impressed with her arm and muscle tone and was surprised at how well she can already hold her head up! Next appointment will not be until her 2 month check up and she will be given her shots at that time.
Last night Ella slept for 5 hours! Mommy had to get up a few times to check on her, but all was well! She is beginning to stay up for longer periods of time and eat more at each feeding.
All in all, everything is going great.... each day is a little bit easier!
